Wave Wave 22

The 1995 LeSabre was born to haul groceries, not sheet metal. Pickup LeSabre flips the script with a real cut behind the B-pillar and a 450mm stretch to the rear rails, turning GM’s softest full-size sedan into a long-bed, wide-track bruiser that still reads “factory” at a glance. The widened front (100mm) and rear (130mm) keep the proportions honest, while integrated step bars and a steel-lined bed make it more than a styling exercise.

Under the extended, vented hood sits a simple, believable answer to the new job description: a 5.7L small-block crate V8 with a mild cam and towing-minded supporting parts. It’s the kind of build you’d expect to see idling outside a Midwest warehouse—dust hanging in the daylight—looking like it was finished with equal parts measuring tape, cutoff wheel, and stubbornness.

1995 Buick LeSabre

The 1995 Buick LeSabre represents a pinnacle of American front-wheel-drive full-size sedans from the mid-90s, blending comfortable highway cruising with a smooth V6 powertrain and a spacious, well-appointed interior. Known for its body-on-frame construction paired with a torsion bar front suspension and a solid rear axle, the LeSabre provided a durable and predictable platform that favored comfort and reliability over outright sportiness. Its timeless three-box silhouette and restrained design cues embody the era’s approach to luxury and practicality, making it a solid foundation for subtle, tasteful customization or preservation projects.

Aero Package

Extended hood with twin ventilated bulges for underhood heat extraction
Flush, smooth factory+ flare transitions to reduce turbulence around the tires
High-mounted rear bumper with integrated LED light bar for visibility and utility

Chassis

This one isn’t chasing lap times; it’s built for industrial miles—warehouse roads, rough pavement, and the kind of real-world use that exposes weak mounts and bad alignment fast. The wide track and all-terrain sidewall give it confidence on broken surfaces without turning it into a caricature.

Wheels & Tires

American Racing AR23 20x10 ET+15 (front)
American Racing AR23 20x10 ET+15 (rear)
Michelin LTX A/T 275/60R20 all-terrain tires

Powertrain

5.7L small-block crate V8 with mild cam for low-mid torque and drivability
Reinforced automatic transmission with towing-focused cooling
Upgraded radiator and oil cooling to manage heat under load
Exhaust routed to clear the new rear structure and bed packaging

Fabrication Notes

Cab back panel and bed front bulkhead seam-sealed and braced to prevent flex and water intrusion
Frame extension fish-plated/boxed with alignment jigs to maintain axle geometry
Bed floor tied into new crossmembers; steel liner mounted with serviceable fasteners
Rear leaf-spring mounts gusseted and located to preserve pinion angle through travel
