Rosso Rampante Protocol

2010 Ford F-150 Platinum

Rosso Rampante Protocol treats the 2010 F-150 Platinum like a cab-forward silhouette that accidentally wandered into Maranello’s wind tunnel and refused to leave. The stance is the headline—95mm ride height, +190mm track, and a widebody that’s measured like a race part: +180mm up front with a chamfered lip and a long concave relief to calm front-wheel wake, then +230mm rear haunches with heat-evac louvers that read more 458 than work truck.

The trick is keeping it believable: the cabin shifts rearward 85mm and the wheelbase stretches 85mm to make mid-engine packaging and cooling make sense without losing the F-150’s roofline and proportions. Rosso Corsa candy over carbon accents does the rest—show-car clean, but with surfaces and openings that look like they were argued over by aero and thermal engineers, not stylists.

Aero Package

Carbon front splitter extending 140mm with twin dive planes rising 90mm
Side skirts extending 90mm outward with a sharp aero shelf and 20mm down-angled rear edge
Rear diffuser 270mm deep with six strakes (40mm thick
180mm tall) and 110mm clearance target
Fixed dual-element rear wing (1680mm) on swan-neck pylons rising 880mm above the rear deck
740mm roof scoop with radiused entry lips feeding rear cooling ducts

Chassis

Set on a winding alpine pass at golden hour, the build reads like a stability test disguised as a photoshoot: long sweepers, compression zones, and short straights where aero balance matters. The stance and surfaces are meant to look planted in that environment—low, wide, and calm through the air rather than visually noisy.

Wheels & Tires

21x11 OZ Racing Ultraleggera forged
matte black centers with polished lips
315/30ZR21 Pirelli P Zero Corsa square setup for neutral balance on widened track
Track widened +190mm front and rear (hub-to-hub) to match widebody geometry

Powertrain

Longitudinal mid-mounted 5.7L twin-turbo V8 targeting ~820hp with conservative boost for heat control
7-speed dual-clutch with rear transaxle layout for improved polar moment and traction
Side NACA ducts feeding intercooler/radiator arrays ahead of rear wheels with defined exit via quarter louvers
High-flow exhaust routed rearward to twin rectangular outlets with heat shielding around haunch structures

Fabrication Notes

Carbon hood with raised intake and extraction vents designed around pressure zones
not symmetry alone
Widebody quarters require inner tub rework and suspension pick-up validation for +190mm track
Underbody sealing and diffuser mounting tied into chassis rails to prevent aero load deflection
Cooling ducting modeled as a continuous path: inlet area
core face area
and controlled exit to avoid heat soak

Wave 49

Rosso Rampage

We took some of the most unassuming rides from the past three decades and injected them with a full dose of Ferrari madness — widebodies, wild aero, and powertrains that laugh in the face of factory specs. From a mid-engine Camry that looks ready to lap Nurburgring in Rosso Mirage red, to an alpine-honed F-150 that’s less truck, more hypertruck, these builds juggle identity and insanity with reckless precision.
