Classic Muscle P-Ute
1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Wagon
A boxy ’87 Crown Vic wagon doesn’t ask for attention—so we cut it into something that does. The rear is chopped behind the back doors and re-skinned into a single-cab muscle ute with a tight 1200mm bed, a lowered beltline, and hand-shaped quarters that trade family-hauler slab for honest haunch. Up front, 180mm of steel flare is worked into scalloped, period-correct fender edges—more factory-plus than bolt-on attitude.
The stance is a measured 50mm drop with a slight rake, letting the black cowl-induction hood sit like a threat without turning the car into a caricature. Torque Thrust-style 17x10s fill the arches with 315-section BFGs, and the whole thing reads like a gas-station hero shot from an alternate timeline where Ford built a Panther-platform street bruiser for the weekend.

1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Wagon
The 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Wagon stands as a quintessential example of late-80s American automotive design—an imposing, full-size station wagon rooted in traditional body-on-frame construction. Known for its spacious interior and robust V8 powertrains, the LTD Crown Victoria Wagon offers a canvas built for durability and practicality, with an unmistakable presence defined by its squared-off silhouette and large glass surfaces. Its classic proportions and solid engineering make it a compelling base for enthusiasts seeking to blend vintage Americana with modern fabrication techniques.
Aero Package
Hand-formed metal hood with cowl-induction scoop (gloss black) for airflow and heat extraction
Subtle integrated tailgate lip spoiler to finish the bed line without adding visual noise
Tightened under-bumper valance detailing to reduce front-end lift cues while staying period-correct
Chassis
The retained wide track and slight rake give it that muscle-car forward lean while keeping the big Ford planted at speed. It’s not a time-attack fantasy—think confident highway pulls, on-ramp aggression, and the kind of composure that makes a heavy street car feel smaller than it is.
Wheels & Tires
17x10 American Racing Torque Thrust-style wheels
315/60R17 BFGoodrich radial tires for a tall sidewall, street bite, and classic muscle proportion
Square, aggressive fitment tuned to sit flush with the widened arches
Powertrain
6.7L stroked V8 crate-based build targeting ~620 hp with strong midrange torque
Mechanical fuel injection for crisp throttle response and period motorsport character
Custom long-tube headers and free-flowing exhaust sized for street torque, not just peak numbers
Upgraded cooling strategy (high-capacity radiator and oil cooling provisions) to suit sustained summer cruising
Fabrication Notes
Cab/bed separation reinforced with boxed structure and inner bracing to recover rigidity lost from the wagon cut
Steel widebody sections metal-finished and blended for OEM-plus surfaces (no rivets, no seams)
Bed floor and inner tubs fabricated to clear wide tires while keeping usable cargo depth
Roll bar integrated to the bed structure with proper load paths rather than cosmetic mounting

We've taken the art of the pickup and cranked it up to eleven, carving wide arches and planting giant tires where these classics and contemporary wonders never dared to tread. Our builds aren’t just chopped-up sedans or quirky wagons with beds glued on — they are fully legit sailors of an alternate muscle and utility universe, where widebody flair meets hauling might without a hint of compromise.
