Classic Muscle Revival

2015 Chrysler 200

The 2015 Chrysler 200 was never supposed to wear a cowl hood and chrome like it owned Woodward—but that’s exactly why this build works. Classic Muscle Revival takes the clean, modern sedan shell and re-frames it as a ’70s-inspired restomod: big-hipped, bright-trimmed, and unapologetically wide, with the kind of stance that makes a “dad car” look like it’s about to stage at the end of the block.

Under the show-polished skin, the concept stays grounded in real hardware: widened track for actual tire, a modern HEMI crate for reliable power, and a Tremec to make the whole thing feel mechanical again. It’s a car-meet build that reads instantly in photos, but still makes sense when you start looking at mounting points, cooling, and driveline angles.

Aero Package

Cowl-induction aluminum hood with gloss black scoop and chrome side vents (heat extraction + visual cue)
Matte black ducktail spoiler integrated into the deck for stability without a modern wing silhouette
Front air management with a deeper chin profile to balance the rear ducktail at speed

Chassis

The widened track—roughly 1850mm front and 1900mm rear—exists to support the bodywork honestly, not to hide bad fitment. It’s the difference between a widebody that looks tough and one that actually feels planted when the road opens up.

Wheels & Tires

18x10 American Racing Torq Thrust (square fitment for rotation and consistent handling)
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, 275/40R18 front and rear
High-load studs and hub-centric rings to suit widened track and aggressive offset targets

Powertrain

6.4L (392) HEMI crate V8 targeting ~505 hp with OEM-grade drivability
Tremec 6-speed manual conversion with chassis-specific tunnel and shifter placement
Upgraded cooling stack (high-cap radiator, dual fans, ducting) to support low-speed show traffic and hard pulls
Custom long-tube headers into dual exhaust with X-pipe for clearance and classic muscle tone

Fabrication Notes

Engine bay rework: mounts, accessory drive clearance, and heat shielding for brake/steering components
Transmission tunnel and crossmember fabrication to maintain driveline angle and service access
Rear structure strategy to visually reference leaf-spring muscle while reinforcing pickup points for real load paths
Brake package and master cylinder bias tuned for wider tire and higher power (pedal feel prioritized)
