Velvet Reign Edition
1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
Velvet Reign takes the sacred C4 ZR-1 silhouette and stretches it with restraint: smooth, OEM-adjacent surfaces pulled wide until the proportions feel planted and expensive, not cartoonish. The LT5 stays front and center—because the point isn’t to rewrite the ZR-1, it’s to frame it with a body that looks like GM’s skunkworks had a coastal show-season budget and no fear of fender width.
The wide track does the heavy lifting: 110mm front fender growth, deeper rear quarters, and a rocker shelf that visually lowers the car without relying on extreme ride height. Finished in a candy aubergine that flips to copper-gold under indoor light, Velvet Reign reads like a museum piece that still knows what an on-ramp is.

1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
The 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 stands as an iconic leap forward in American performance engineering, marrying raw power with sleek, purposeful design. Built on the revered C4 chassis, it introduced the LT5 DOHC V8 engine, delivering supercar-caliber speed while maintaining the balanced handling and sculpted dynamics that made the Corvette a legend. Its distinctive wide track and aggressive stance laid the foundation for modern muscle on pavement, epitomizing a focused driver’s car forged for both road and track.
Aero Package
140mm-forward low splitter with subtle integrated dive planes for stability and balance
Elongated front cooling ducts feeding recessed brake cooling paths
260mm rear diffuser with three shallow channels for underbody flow organization
Integrated ducktail (100mm tall, 1150mm wide) tuned for clean rear stability
Chassis
This is an editorial-floor car that still wants real pavement: wide enough to look unshakable, low enough to read intentional, and calm enough to drive without scraping every driveway. Think coastal boulevards, late-night freeway pulls, and the kind of show parking where paint reflections matter as much as lap times.
Wheels & Tires
Forgeline GA3R 20x9.5 front, satin gold centers with polished lip/barrel
Forgeline GA3R 20x11 rear, matching finish for a cohesive luxury-show read
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 255/30ZR20 front for crisp turn-in and street manners
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 305/30ZR20 rear to fill the new quarters with real footprint
Powertrain
Original 5.7L LT5 retained for platform authenticity and collector integrity
Cooling refinement: improved shrouding and low-noise electric fan strategy for extended idling
Engine bay presentation: clear-anodized cover with polished titanium/gold detailing accents
Exhaust presentation: dual trapezoidal exits integrated flush into diffuser valleys
Fabrication Notes
Widebody surfaces formed with continuous convex curvature to avoid “add-on kit” break lines
Rolled lips and radiused transitions used for strength, paint durability, and clean reflections
Rocker shelf geometry chamfered to guide airflow while visually lowering the body
Panel alignment prioritized around door cuts, glass, and OEM lamp geometry to preserve recognition
