Longtail Studies

I got bored of normal proportions, so we went full Group C on the stuff nobody asked for. Microcar cabrios, rally legends, a sensible BMW sedan, an actual Honda Element, a compact pickup, and a mid-engine MR2 all lined up in the shop with the same disease: wedge noses, covered wheels, and rear decks stretched like we’re trying to outrun the calendar. The trick was keeping each car’s face and greenhouse recognizable while we grafted on endurance-prototype aero that looks illegal but measures out like it belongs on a pit wall clipboard.

This batch is our longtail thesis. Low-drag noses pushed way forward, sealed wheel fairings to calm the turbulence, sidepods and NACA ducts doing the cooling homework, and diffusers that could grate cheese at 180 mph. Some of these keep wings, some trust the tail and the floor, but they all chase the same idea: if your street chassis got invited to an 80s endurance program, it would not come back the same. And honestly, neither did we.
