Iron Bastion Program takes the 2009 Ram 1500’s unmistakable shoulders and turns them into a T1+-inspired desert endurance tool—wide, tall, and built around cooling and survivability at sustained speed. The squared 110mm-per-side front arches and 120mm rear quarters aren’t styling exercises; they’re packaging for 39s, long-travel geometry, and the kind of fender clearance you need when the suspension is living at full compression for hours.
Up front, the truck trades its street bumper for a forward skid/tube structure and real airflow management: tall radiator inlets flanking a central snorkel path, plus rearward-angled NACA vents to pull heat out when the dunes stop providing clean air. The bed floor rises for protected underfloor channels, the rear gets extractors and a working diffuser section, and the whole thing reads like a race shop’s answer to making a full-size pickup behave at 160 km/h on sand.
