Story

Redwood Rally Outlaw takes the early-2000s IS300—normally a tight, street-tuned chassis—and drags it into 1980s Baja logic: wide track, long travel, and bodywork that exists to clear tires and survive abuse. The 160mm front and 175mm rear composite flares are squared-off and honest, with hard lips and deep shelves that look like they were shaped by rulebooks and rock rash, not a wind tunnel poster.

Under the matte tan and burnt-orange camo, the build reads like a desert conversion done by people who’ve chased broken parts in the sand. A tubular front structure, real recovery points, and a skid-forward stance make the IS300 feel less like a “lifted sedan” and more like a compact trophy-style platform—low enough to stay stable at speed, tall enough to keep moving when the terrain turns ugly.
