Story

Rally Reaver is what happens when an S197 Mustang GT gets pulled out of the burnout box and forced to learn pace notes. The long-hood coupe silhouette stays recognizable, but everything underneath is re-aimed at surviving flat-out gravel: a 1950mm track, carbon-kevlar arch work with real venting, and suspension travel that finally lets a Mustang breathe over crests instead of skittering across them.

It’s built like a stage car, not a cosplay. Cooling is ducted and redundant, the underside is armored, and the aero is there to keep the nose from going light at speed. The result is a loud, wide, technical piece of American muscle reinterpreted for narrow forest roads—equal parts sacrilege and engineering.

Technical dossier

Fictional engineering concept

Platform

2007 Ford Mustang GT

Powertrain concept

5.0L V8 reworked for rally response with a compact twin-scroll turbo system
Torque-forward calibration with conservative peak power to protect traction and driveline
Front ducted intercooler plus supplemental rear-deck radiator for heat stability on long stages
Twin side-exit exhaust with thermal shielding to reduce underfloor heat and debris ignition risk

Aero package

Splitter extension with venting tunnels feeding underbody heat exchangers
Front canards profiled to manage fender wake and reduce high-speed lift
Integrated venturi-style rear diffuser tied into a flat undertray and skid system
1400mm deployable rear wing with adjustable Gurney flaps for stage-to-stage balance

Chassis & stance

2007 Ford Mustang GT

Wheels & tires

19x8.5 Enkei forged rally wheels for impact resistance and brake clearance
235/65R19 Michelin LTX gravel tires for durability and mixed-surface grip
High-clearance rally offsets matched to 1950mm front/rear track width
Reinforced studs/hubs with stage-service lug hardware

Fabrication notes

Front and rear suspension pickup points reinforced and re-indexed for 200mm wheel travel and corrected roll center
Underbody skid plate complex integrated with diffuser and service panels for fast stage repairs
Brake and arch venting designed for debris ejection to prevent gravel packing at speed
Rear structure simplified to a bolt-on crash bar and modular aero mounts for quick replacement
