Iron Grid Program
The Iron Grid Program reimagines the 2002 Dodge Intrepid as a purpose-built endurance touring racer, channeling the spirit and engineering rigor of 90s Japanese Super Touring Championship machines. This transformation widens the track by 140mm front and rear, integrating squared trapezoidal fender arches that not only accommodate the increased tire width but also optimize airflow with vertical lips and vortex generators. Aerodynamics take center stage with a vertically layered front intake, twin NACA ducts on the hood, and a rear diffuser paired with a GT-style dual-element wing, all tuned to balance downforce and drag for tight, technical road circuits.
Underneath the aggressive widebody exterior, the suspension features fully adjustable double wishbones set to a low 95mm ride height, enhancing mechanical grip for prolonged laps. The drivetrain retains the original V6 layout but is extensively modified with a sequential racing gearbox, dry sump lubrication, and relocated rear radiators housed in widened sidepods for thermal efficiency. BBS Motorsport forged wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888R semi-slicks complete the package, marrying classic endurance race aesthetics with uncompromising performance.
