Story

Candy Crush Revival takes the first-gen New Beetle and treats it like a coachbuilt demo car from the peak of the early-2000s tuner boom—bold color, polished metal, and panelwork that looks poured on. The candy violet finish is layered over pearl, meant to read different under high-CRI gallery light and purple neon spill, so the body’s transitions do the talking instead of graphics.

The widebody is the centerpiece: +100mm front and +120mm rear in hand-formed aluminum, with stepped double-arch profiles up front and wave-like quarters that melt into extended skirts and a distorted trapezoid rear bumper add-on. A carbon hood with an off-center louver breaks the symmetry just enough, while the extended hatch carries an integrated sculptural wing—no brackets, no hardware, just surface development and restraint.
