Nano Time Attack

2013 Chevrolet Spark

Nano Time Attack takes the 2013 Chevrolet Spark—usually a parking-lot blur—and turns it into a purpose-built weapon for tight, technical circuits. A full carbon widebody pushes overall width out by 320mm, with sharp, polygonal arches shaped like ducting first and styling second. The front fenders do real work: integrated channels feed brake cooling to dual 6-piston setups while keeping the wheel wake controlled.

Under the skin it’s all about response and repeatability. Push-rod suspension drops ride height to a 95mm working clearance, and active control keeps platform attitude stable under braking and high-speed compression. With a 1.6L turbo four, sequential 6-speed, and an honest 780kg target, the Spark stops being “small”—it becomes fast where it matters: corner entry, mid-corner balance, and exit traction in the wet.

Aero Package

Front arch brake-cooling channels feeding dual 6-piston calipers
Active hood vents to manage pressure zones and reduce front lift
Large carbon rear diffuser designed around central-exit exhaust routing
Twin-plane adjustable rear wing with endplates and vortex generators
Flat underfloor sections tied into splitter/diffuser sealing strategy

Chassis

Designed for tight, technical circuits where braking points are close together and aero stability matters more than top speed. The stormy, wet-tarmac setting fits the build’s intent: controlled platform, strong brake cooling, and downforce that stays usable through spray and yaw.

Wheels & Tires

18x10 OZ Racing Ultraleggera
245/40R18 Yokohama Advan A005 semi-slicks
Motorsport studs and open-end hardware for fast pit cycles
Track-aligned camber and toe settings to support sustained aero load

Powertrain

1.6L turbocharged inline-4 built with forged internals for sustained boost
350 hp target with emphasis on midrange torque and throttle response
Sequential 6-speed gearbox for consistent shift timing under load
Motorsport cooling strategy (ducting, radiator/oil management) for repeat laps

Fabrication Notes

Widebody mounted with serviceable fasteners for quick removal and repairs
Brake ducting molded into arch structure to reduce hose runs and leaks
Push-rod suspension packaging designed around tire clearance at full lock/compression
Diffuser and exhaust routed to protect expansion volume and avoid heat soak
Aero elements indexed and shimmed for repeatable setup changes track-to-track
