Southern Belle Revival takes the 2005 Buick LaCrosse—quiet, rounded, and unmistakably mid-2000s—and stretches it into a coachbuilt tribute to post-war Buick grandeur. The widebody isn’t a bolt-on attitude change; it’s a full re-proportioning with 120mm front and 165mm rear metalwork that keeps the LaCrosse silhouette intact while borrowing the confident sweep, rolled edges, and chrome punctuation you’d expect from a ’49-era boulevard car.
It’s show-first, but built like it could survive real miles: widened track, modern monotube coilovers under traditional-looking hardware, functional heat extraction, and side-exit exhaust routed with serviceability in mind. The result reads like an alternate GM timeline—where the family sedan got a proper custom shop send-off instead of fading into commuter anonymity.
