Story

Dune Commander is what happens when a 2017 Nissan Rogue gets treated like a real desert program instead of a cosplay lift kit. The body stays unmistakably Rogue, but everything underneath is pushed wide and long-travel: boxed and reinforced pickup points, proper bump control, and a track width that finally matches the tire it’s wearing. It’s the familiar family crossover silhouette, re-drawn in the language of chase trucks and start lines.

The details sell it—tubular protection where plastic used to be, serviceable panels, and cooling/filtration choices made for hours of dust. The goal isn’t peak dyno numbers; it’s torque you can lean on, temperatures that stay stable, and a chassis that lands straight after the kind of mid-air moments that make the photographer keep shooting.
