The Subaru SVX was born a grand tourer with a concept-car canopy, not a mountain weapon. Hillclimb Hellraiser flips the script: Unlimited-class aero wrapped around that unmistakable glasshouse, built to claw for grip on broken asphalt where air is thin and speeds are high.
A 180 mm-per-side widebody makes room for 19x13 magnesium and 315-section semi-slicks, while a sealed floor, long splitter, and two-tier wing turn the SVX into a downforce device. It’s the kind of build that feels like it should’ve existed in a factory skunkworks binder—if Subaru’s engineers had been told to forget comfort and chase seconds.
