Hill Climb Hulk
Hill Climb Hulk takes the 2020 Outlander’s honest AWD grocery-getter bones and stretches them into something that belongs on a dawn start line. A functional widebody pushes track to 2125mm, not for show but to keep a tall chassis calm under load. The surfacing is time-attack direct: hard edges, exposed fasteners, and vents placed where heat actually lives.
The aero is built around wet-road confidence—big, stable downforce without turning the car into a parachute on short straights. Canards feed brake ducts, a vented carbon hood relieves bay pressure, and a multi-element rear wing is hydraulically trimmed for corner sections versus sprint sections. It’s the kind of build that looks slightly wrong in the best way: an SUV with the posture and hardware of a hill climb car.

Platform
2020 Mitsubishi Outlander
The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander is a versatile midsize crossover SUV that blends practical family utility with a rugged, go-anywhere attitude. Built on Mitsubishi’s proven platform, it offers a balanced chassis with a confident ride height and all-wheel drive capability, making it equally at home navigating urban streets or light off-road trails. Its clean, unmodified silhouette and functional design emphasize reliability and everyday usability without compromising on style or space.
Aero Package
Front splitter with integrated strakes and ducted brake cooling inlets
Canards blended into the bumper corners to stabilize yaw on turn-in
Flat underfloor with sealed edges feeding a carbon rear diffuser
Multi-element hydraulically adjustable rear wing with endplates sized for SUV wake control
Chassis
Set for misty, wet mountain tarmac where grip changes corner to corner. Downforce and cooling are sized for short straights, heavy braking, and repeated acceleration—exactly the rhythm that exposes weak aero and heat management.
Wheels & Tires
HRE P101 staggered setup to support aero balance and AWD traction
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 for dry bite with predictable wet behavior
Motorsport studs
open-ended nuts
and extended hubs for serviceability
Clearance-focused offsets to keep scrub radius in check with the wide track
Powertrain
Turbocharged VR6 swap tuned for fast spool and sustained load on climbs
Large front-mount intercooler with short
high-flow charge routing
Motorsport oiling and cooling package (baffled sump
external cooler
ducting)
ECU calibration prioritizing throttle resolution and knock safety on long pulls
Fabrication Notes
Ducting is sealed end-to-end: bumper inlets to rotor hats and heat shields
no dead-end hoses
Underfloor uses quick-release panels and skid plates at leading edges for stage debris
Wing mounts tie into reinforced rear structure
not just the hatch skin
to control flex
Heat management includes reflective barriers and vent placement to prevent soak at low speed
