Story

A ’78 Buick Century is supposed to be quiet, soft, and forgotten. Hillclimb Anomaly takes that square-shouldered sedan silhouette and turns it into an Unlimited-class problem: 2120mm of track-width menace, carbon-aramid aero that extends past the original fenders, and a hood reimagined as a heat-management device instead of a styling panel.

The whole car reads like a functional sketch—big surfaces, hard edges, and visible intent. Active aero and hydraulic geometry control aren’t here for theatrics; they’re here to keep a heavy-bodied American shell planted when the road turns to switchbacks, cambers change mid-corner, and boost arrives like a hammer at altitude.
