Urban Muscle Donk
Urban Muscle Donk takes a ’78 Caprice—already a cornerstone of big-body American style—and pushes it into modern show-car territory without losing the lowrider heartbeat. The widebody is the headline: 230mm per side of ballooned, scallop-layered fender volume that reads like muscle-car pressure under skin, with recessed lines to keep the surfaces from going flat under city lights.
Under the neon, it’s all stance and presence: a measured 1650mm track front and rear, 24-inch Forgiatos, and a hydraulic system tuned for tilt and hop while still landing clean. The small-block stays true to the era, rebuilt for reliable rumble and a deep exhaust note that carries over wet asphalt and a crowd’s noise.

Platform
1978 Chevrolet Caprice
The 1978 Chevrolet Caprice stands as an icon of late-’70s American full-size sedans, blending classic luxury with robust V8 powertrains and a commanding road presence. Its long, squared-off body lines and expansive chrome detailing capture a bygone era of automotive design, offering a spacious, comfortable platform that became a staple for both family cruisers and fleet vehicles alike. Underneath, the Caprice’s body-on-frame construction and straightforward suspension layout make it a solid, approachable canvas for customization and performance upgrades.
Aero Package
Clean
truncated rear with no spoiler to keep the tail visually heavy and trunk-focused
Smoothed under-bumper surfacing to keep the car reading low without fragile add-ons
Subtle front lip profile integrated into the bumper line for a sharper
modern face
Chassis
Set under neon and rain-slick reflections, this Caprice is framed as a cultural spotlight build—part donk exaggeration, part lowrider ritual. It’s designed for the meet: rolling in slow, laying out low, lifting on command, and holding a crowd’s attention with stance, sound, and lighting.
Wheels & Tires
Forgiato FR4 custom forged: 24x12J front
24x14J rear
Toyo Proxes 335/25ZR24 high-load street performance tires

Show-focused alignment with controlled camber to sit inside the widened arches
Powertrain
Original 5.7L small-block V8 retained and fully rebuilt for reliability and sound
High-flow intake and matched fueling calibration for crisp throttle response
Custom dual exhaust tuned for a deep

Cooling upgrades to handle long idle time at meets with lights and pumps running
Fabrication Notes
Widebody built with layered edge geometry for depth and shadow rather than flat overfenders
Hydraulics bay packaged under the hood for service access and clean trunk presentation
Rear tub and control panel structure reinforced to handle pump weight and vibration
Lighting conversion integrated with OEM body lines to avoid a bolt-on
kit-car look
