Story

Tokyo Curtain Call takes a 2009 Continental GT—already a long-hood bruiser—and drags it into the Tokyo expo aisle with silhouette-car proportions and riveted, stepped widebody logic. The 140mm over-fenders are treated like layered architecture: chamfered edges, exposed fasteners, and a shelfed front flare that visually ties into the rocker line so the car reads lower, wider, and more intentional than a simple bolt-on kit.

Up front, the modular bumper stacks vertical scoops like a parts-bin race car rendered in luxury metal, while the hood’s subtle center bulge and twin round vents nod to forced-induction heat management without turning the whole surface into a cheese grater. Out back, the stretched rear quarters and roof scoop set up the final punchline: a 1780mm single-element wing on tall anodized pillars, equal parts Bosozoku theater and track-day hardware—built to own the camera at 0.7m off the ground under purple and neon green.

Technical dossier

Fictional engineering concept

Platform

2009 Bentley Continental GT

Powertrain concept

Retain the factory 6.0L twin-turbo W12 architecture with modernized charge-cooling and boost control
Thermal management focus: upgraded intercooler core volume and improved ducting behind the modular bumper
Calibrated ECU/TCU tune aimed at midrange torque and smooth delivery for a heavy AWD coupe
Valved exhaust to keep it civil on the street and sharp under load at the expo roll-in

Aero package

Modular replacement front bumper with vertically stacked side scoops (120–60mm inlet diameters)
Two-tone anodized aluminum roof scoop extending 130mm rearward from the hatch line
Adjustable single-element GT wing
1780mm span
on 900mm anodized aluminum L-pillars
Under-bumper ducting provisions for brake cooling and intercooler airflow management

Chassis & stance

2009 Bentley Continental GT

Wheels & tires

20-inch three-piece step-lip wheels to suit the Continental’s scale and the silhouette arches
Staggered fitment with aggressive offset to fill the full 140mm extension without excessive spacer stack
295-section rear tire / 265-section front tire for a believable high-torque street setup
Show alignment: mild front camber
slightly higher rear camber to tuck at aired-out height

Fabrication notes

Reinforced inner mounting flanges and bonded/riveted interfaces to prevent panel flutter at speed
Sectioned
serviceable bumper modules for access to cooling packs and tow points
Wing pedestal backing plates tied into the rear structure to distribute load beyond the hatch skin
Air suspension tuned with higher spring rates and controlled damping to avoid float at speed
