Crimson Komainu Division
Crimson Komainu Division takes the 2017 Honda Odyssey—peak anonymous family hardware—and drags it into the deep end of Japanese street-show aero. The whole point is scale: layered stepped flares, a splitter that actually reaches into clean air, and a rear aero stack that turns the van’s slab-sided wake into something you can shape, not just endure. It reads like bosozoku without cosplay, because the proportions are backed by track width, wheel packaging, and ducting that all have a job.
Under the drama, it stays believable: OEM J35 V6 and 6-speed automatic for reliability, with cooling and exhaust work to survive traffic, heat, and long pulls between meets. The body is built like a real widebody—bonded, fastened, and reinforced—so the stance can be low without the panels turning into a vibrating instrument at speed.

Platform
2017 Honda Odyssey
The 2017 Honda Odyssey is a masterclass in versatile family motoring, merging practical space with refined engineering. Built on a unibody minivan platform with a smooth, car-like ride, it features a bold, aerodynamic silhouette that maximizes interior volume without sacrificing style or agility. Its architecture balances rigidity and comfort, providing a stable foundation for daily driving, road trips, and everything in between while integrating innovative safety features and efficient powertrains representative of Honda's reliability and engineering precision.
Aero Package
175mm extended three-tier front bumper/splitter plane with four outward-angled vertical plates
Vertical louver inlets ducted to cooling and brake airflow, vented through the front arches
Rear bumper shelf extension with seven vertical vanes to manage separation and wake
Dual-element swan-neck wing (1850mm span, 760mm above hatch) with carbon elements and matched endplates
Stepped rear diffuser extension with four strakes and wide main floor plate
Chassis
Widened front track and massive rear quarters aren’t just for posture—they’re to properly house 305-section tires and keep the steering and suspension from living at the edge of interference. Ride height targets 55mm front and 65mm rear on adjustable coilovers with progressive rates, aiming for a low, stable cruise that still survives real streets.
Wheels & Tires
19x10 ET15 front / 19x12 ET0 rear forged Work Emotion CR Kai
305/30R19 performance-focused tires with widebody coverage and controlled arch clearance
Target alignment: -2.7° front / -3.2° rear camber for fitment without destroying drivability
Powertrain
Retain OEM 3.5L J35 V6 for dependable street miles with intake refinement
Custom multi-canister exhaust layout tuned for presence without drone overload
Cooling upgrades via ducting and hood extraction to keep temps stable in stop-and-go
Stock 6-speed automatic with added paddle control for manual authority when desired
Fabrication Notes
Composite widebody built with bonded seams plus mechanical fastening at service points to resist cracking
Inner-arch tubbing and liner rework to clear 305s at low ride height without rubbing under compression
Ducting formed as sealed channels from louvers to heat exchangers/brakes with defined exit paths
Wing and rear shelf mounted to reinforced structure to prevent hatch-skin fatigue and vibration

Part of
Wave 42
Bosozoku Blitzkrieg
Our builds dive headfirst into the wild, loud, and obsessive world of Bosozoku street culture, but with a twist — we slammed, flared, and layered widebodies across everything from a venerable 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II to an unsuspecting 2017 Toyota RAV4. These aren’t your typical JDM tuner heroes; no, these are radical, theatrical beasts where tradition meets chaos in a riot of rivets, riveted panels, multi-layered flares, and absurd aerodynamic appendages.
