2011 Volkswagen Jetta
R031
The 2005 Pontiac G6 undergoes a radical transformation into a DTM-style street racer, merging aggressive race-bred aerodynamics with refined street-legal presence. This build dramatically widens the track and incorporates advanced aerodynamic features to optimize downforce and cornering grip, while maintaining an elegant silhouette suited for urban circuits. The widebody architecture, forged wheels, and race-tuned suspension create a poised yet aggressive stance, perfectly balancing precision handling with street sophistication.
Blueprint // R031
Built to master tight urban circuits, the G6's widened track and race-tuned suspension deliver exceptional cornering precision and stability. Adjustable camber plates and hydraulic bump stops allow fine-tuning for curbing tolerance, while the aerodynamic package generates significant downforce without compromising agility. Carbon ceramic brakes provide consistent stopping power under repeated heavy use.
Front track widened by 520mm and rear track by 540mm with hand-formed aluminum wide fenders.
Wheel arches flared 75mm outward with integrated vortex canals for airflow management.
Lower side sills extended 150mm outward and dropped 60mm below OEM height creating ground effect channels.
Carbon fiber clamshell hood with a central bulge rising 85mm to accommodate upgraded intake and turbo.
Carbon fiber rear trunk lid with active diffuser extending 120mm beyond OEM trailing edge.
Vertical air extraction slots (5 per side) on front fenders for brake cooling.
Integrated vortex canals in front fenders channel turbulent air to rear diffuser.
Vertical brake heat extraction slots on front fenders (200mm x 40mm each).
Two symmetrical NACA ducts near windshield base feeding intercooler radiators.
Active rear diffuser with adjustable vortex fins managing rear pressure zones.
DTM-style two-element rear wing with aerodynamic endplates featuring horizontal slits.
Rear wing produces 350kg downforce at 160 km/h with fully adjustable angle via electric servos.
Mirrored triple front fins on side sills directing airflow rearwards.
Aerodynamics are meticulously engineered with hand-formed aluminum wide fenders featuring vortex canals to smooth turbulent airflow. Vertical brake cooling slots and NACA ducts feed intercoolers efficiently. The active rear diffuser with adjustable vortex fins and a two-element DTM-style rear wing produce significant downforce and drag reduction. Additional ground effect is generated by extended side sills with triple front fins, all combining to deliver race-level aerodynamic performance while retaining street-legal elegance.
Front wheels: 18x11-inch forged BBS E88 in matte gunmetal grey.
Rear wheels: 18x12-inch forged BBS E88 in matte gunmetal grey.
Front tires: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, size 315/30R18.
Rear tires: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, size 335/30R18.
Aggressive negative camber setup: -3.5° front, -2.7° rear.
Custom forged BBS E88 wheels sized 18x11 inches front and 18x12 inches rear, finished in matte gunmetal grey, provide a lightweight yet robust foundation. Wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires (315/30R18 front, 335/30R18 rear), the setup emphasizes grip and responsiveness. The aggressive negative camber settings further enhance contact patch and cornering performance.
The stance is aggressively wide and low, with front and rear tracks expanded to 2,280mm and 2,300mm respectively. Suspension is lowered to maintain a 50mm ride height clearance, balancing ground effect efficiency and street usability. Negative camber angles of -3.5° front and -2.7° rear optimize tire contact during high lateral loads, creating a poised yet dynamic posture.
Highly tuned twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine producing 540hp and 600Nm torque.
Water-methanol injection system for enhanced cooling and power delivery.
Front-mount intercooler fed by hood NACA ducts for efficient charge cooling.
Aggressive stainless steel exhaust with active sound valves balancing street civility and race tone.
Reinforced transmission with sequential paddle shift gearbox.
Traction control system optimized for tight circuit driving precision.
The original 3.5L V6 is replaced by a highly tuned twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 delivering 540 horsepower and 600Nm of torque. Equipped with water-methanol injection and a front-mount intercooler fed by hood NACA ducts, this powerplant balances raw performance with thermal efficiency. The aggressive stainless steel exhaust system features active sound valves to maintain street-legal noise levels while providing a race-inspired tone under load.
Power is transmitted through a reinforced sequential paddle-shift gearbox designed for rapid gear changes and durability under racing conditions. The drivetrain incorporates an advanced traction control system optimized specifically for the demands of tight urban circuit driving, ensuring maximum grip and driver confidence through corners.
Widebody fenders hand-formed from aluminum with precise vortex canal integration.
Carbon fiber components including hood, rear trunk lid, and diffuser fabricated for weight savings and strength.
Titanium heat extractor vents on hood custom machined and integrated for effective engine bay cooling.
Custom coilover suspension with aluminum control arms widened by 100mm per side per axle.
Active aerodynamic elements electrically actuated with street and track calibration modes.
BBS E88 wheels forged for lightweight durability and finished in matte gunmetal grey.
