The widened stance is set to 2100mm up front and 2200mm at the rear, aligning the tire to the body instead of forcing the body to pretend. The front lift adds the classic gasser rake and clearance, while the slightly lowered rear keeps the truck planted when the slicks bite and the weight moves rearward.

A 2016 Sierra shouldn’t look like it’s queued for a Saturday-night bracket race—so we made one that does. Sierra Muscle Gasser takes the modern crew-cab silhouette and yanks it into the 1970s with a hard rake, big-and-little 15s, and a wide-track body that reads like a purpose-built strip truck, not a cosplay kit. The riveted scalloped front arches and tubular rear guards are functional cues on a pickup that’s now all about tire, stance, and launch.

Under the raised cowl hood, the concept leans on old-school simplicity with modern execution: a large-cube NA V8, long-tube headers, and a drivetrain built to survive repeated hits. The tailgate is flattened into a clean panel with round lamps and protector bars—less “worksite” and more “pits,” especially when the sunset backlight catches the smoke and the gloss-black metalwork.
