Phantom Silhouette Initiative
2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van
Phantom Silhouette Initiative takes the 2015 Sprinter—usually invisible in traffic—and forces it into the Hyper Silhouette conversation with one rule: remove everything that isn’t structure. The widebody isn’t a bolt-on costume; it’s a continuous skin that stretches the factory roofline and door geometry into something lower, wider, and eerily calm. Razor-slit lighting and near-zero shutline drama keep the van’s identity intact while stripping it down to pure mass and proportion.
Under the menace is believable engineering: widened track, a lowered center of gravity, and real underbody aero that treats the Sprinter like a long-wheelbase GT rather than a delivery tool. It’s an aero demo car disguised as a minimalist sculpture—built to look silent, but designed like it has data behind it.
